16 tips to win every pen fight
How good players win in PenBlow Simulator: aiming, breathing, spinning rivals off the edge, avoiding fouls and climbing ranked.
- Aim just behind your pen
Air that hits the table spreads along it. Aiming a little behind your pen gives a clean, straight push.
- Hit the end to spin
Air on one end of a pen spins it. A spinning pen sweeps a wide arc: the best way to swing a rival off the edge.
- Breathe deep before big shots
Keep holding right mouse when your lungs are full for a deep breath. A deep breath pushes harder and lasts longer.
- Narrow lips for precision, wide for reach
Q focuses your air into a narrow jet for exact hits. E widens it: the air reaches further, but your lungs empty faster.
- Lean in for power
W leans you closer to the table for more force; S sits back for a wider angle on the whole table.
- Stand up for the perfect angle
Press F to stand and walk around the table. Blowing from the side often lines up a shot that is impossible from your seat.
- Use Shift for gentle pushes
Holding Shift caps your power. Use it to nudge your pen away from the edge or into position without overshooting.
- Space for quick corrections
Space is a short puff. It turns or nudges your pen without spending a full breath.
- Never blow on a rival's pen
If your air moves another player's pen it is a foul, and they get a free hit on yours. Ram them with your own pen instead.
- Use other pens as shields
Pens shelter each other from the wind. A rival tucked behind another pen is hard to reach with air, and so is yours.
- Park away from the edge
After your blow, think about where your pen stops. A pen near the edge is the first target of every other player.
- Know your pen
Light pens fly with a small breath; heavy pens need a deep one but keep their momentum. Round pens roll far; clips and flat sides stop sooner.
- Mind the 20-second turn clock
Each turn lasts 20 seconds. Breathe in while you aim so the blow is ready when your shot is.
- Grab power-ups in casual
Slide over glowing tokens for Turbo Lungs, Heavy Pen, Ice Table or Shockwave. Ranked has no power-ups.
- Time your ability
Ability characters press X: Steady Aim for an exact hit, Focused Burst for a harder push, Trajectory Preview to read the path, Last-Second Focus to escape the edge.
- Practise in the physics lab
Practice mode lets you try every pen and table surface with no pressure. Ten minutes there is worth ten ranked losses.
