How to start

Create a free account, open Ranked and press Find Match. Everyone starts at 1000 rating (Bronze). Your first 5 matches are placement matches: your rating moves twice as fast so you reach your real level quickly.

Fair matchmaking

You only play people of your own rank or the rank right below or above it. A Gold player meets Silver, Gold and Platinum players, never Bronze or Diamond. The searching screen shows the range you are matched in.

How rating changes

Your rating change depends on the real ranks of the players in your match: beat stronger players and you climb faster, lose to weaker players and you drop more. Win to climb from Bronze through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster to Champion at 1700+.

Equal pens, visible abilities

In ranked every pen plays exactly like the Classic Ballpoint: same weight, same grip, no pen abilities. Your pen only changes how you look. Character abilities work in ranked, but they are small, every player sees the aura when one is active, and the host checks every one. There are no power-ups in ranked.

Ranked rewards

• 200 coins for a win and 40 for a loss against real players.
• +25 coins for every real player you knock out (bots never count).
• Your first 8 ranked matches each day pay in full; the next 20 pay 50%, then 25%. Come back tomorrow for full rewards, plus your daily login reward.
